SAVE THE DATE! QUEEN’S PLATINUM JUBILEE, 2-5 JUNE 2022

This summer, from 2-5 June, the country will enjoy an extended bank holiday to celebrate the Queen’s 70 years as monarch. Events will take place at venues across the country, and West Bradford will be no different. St Catherine’s Church, the Village Hall and the Parish Council have all joined forces to come up with a packed programme – to which all residents are invited!

The timetable is as follows:

  • Evening of Thursday 2 June – beacon / fireworks at the Village Hall Playing Fields, with the bar open;

  • Friday 3 June – all houses to be dressed on a “Royal” theme (bunting etc) as part of a “Best Decorated House” competition;

  • Saturday 4 June – join us at St Catherine’s Church for tea, coffee and cakes; and

  • Sunday 5 June – bring your own food and drink to an afternoon tea party (with a “street party” feel) at the Village Hall, musical entertainment provided.

Further detail on all events will be provided in early May, but if you need any further information (or want to get involved) please contact the Parish Clerk on: westbradfordps@gmail.com
